This place is a little slice of heaven! If I could give it more than five stars I would. Beautiful pub with a magical garden, backing on to wildflower-strewn fields. We had dinner, and the food was exceptionally creative. We particularly loved the desserts. Service was very warm and we felt hugely welcome. Will have to find an excuse to go back!

Excellent food, great service and friendly staff. Won’t be the last time I visit. The beet fillet and ox cheek were perfect, as was the Turbot. Well done chef!
We just had a main course from the a la carte menu for lunch. The plaice was really nice as was the belly pork. The only issue was, as is often with these bistro style pubs, not enough quantity of vegetables.
Lovely pub. We have been quite a few times and always had decent food (be it Sunday lunch, a quick bite after a long walk or an evening meal). Very good gin selection and normally a few good local beers / ciders on tap. If you're in the area it's well worth a visit.
The jackfruit burger is honestly the best burger I’ve ever had and I’m not even a vegetarian. Highly recommend!
