Really happy with the service I received here. What a fab little find this shop is. I went to have some ski boots fitted as I can not endure another holiday with crippled feet. The staff were amazing, spent loads of time fitting my boots and making sure I purchased the boots that were right for me and then fitted/heat moulded the boot to my foot. I am also allowed to take the boots back for adjustment free of charge. Not only that this fitting service was free...you only pay for the boot and then the moulding of the insoles was extra. But god these are comfortable.. I would recommend this shop, my friends have had boots fitted in other places and they have not had the service I received today nor have they walked away saying they have comfortable ski boots... I can actually say my boots are comfortable... Thank you Edge and Wax!

Had a custom fit for some boots which was very good - and cant really fault. However, I also bought and paid for a pair of K2 Domains and bindings my son, and was told to expect a 1 to 2 week delivery. Five weeks later the skis still haven't been delivered, and I call the shop for the second time asking them to tell me exactly whats going going. Two days later and still no reply, I phone again, to be told the buyers been off and no more info - is available. The employee then puts me on hold on the phone and returns saying that E&W's distributor cannot get the skis from the manufacturer and they cannot supply them. Offer of a refund and goodbye - thats customer service! No suggestion of alternative ski's, nothing..... I can only think they don't want the business / care. I was going to give zero stars, but the website won't let me - really really poor customer service. edited to add - You don't have my money after I telephoned for the third time and finally got to the bottom of what was happening, If I hadn't chased you up, you would still have my money and I still wouldn't have the skis! You have my phone number, call me....

Had boots fitted at the weekend by Simon who was brilliant. Really professional and took a lot of time to find me the right pair of boots. I would highly recommend them!! Ask for Simon when booking your boot fitting!

Paid for a pair of Scott Cascade skis for which I was informed that there would be a delay in delivery. After 5 weeks I received an email from Tracey saying the skis were unavailable and they are refunding my money.Whilst the communication was good and professional I'm just a little disappointed to miss out .When I paid for the skis the website indicated they were in stock so I should have expected there to be no problem.In situations like this I feel that the retailer in taking your money and indicating that they have the item you are paying for should be liable to complete the contract you have entered into even if they must do so at a loss.

OK shop when I've used them in the past, but recently tried to get them to honour the price match pledge on their site. They flat refused on the basis that the lower price was from a big shop. I accept that sometimes you have to pay a premium for (usually) better service from a small retailer, so I asked if they could at least do something - maybe split the difference - still no. Why make a price match claim which is simply untrue? Nonsense really, and disappointingly misleading from a retailer which has been very reasonable to deal with in the past.

I have used Edge and Wax online for a number of years now and found their service second to none. I live in Australia and their service ,price and prompt delivery is exceptional . The web site is user friendly and the freight charges to OZ is very reasonable Purchased a set of skis last week and received them in 6 days . Keep up the great work TIM

My girlfriend and I went to get measured for some new boots. Pretty poor service all round after high hopes... Measured my feet at wrong size and didn't really listen to us when we tried say they were the wrong size. Staff were pretty dull and didn't seem to have much customer service skills. Maybe just an off day, but having travelled down from London we were both disappointed with the whole experience – have had much better service and experience from the big shops in London.

I have been very impressed with Edge and Wax. Buying my Hestra gloves, Tracy could not have been more helpful and now that I have a minor fault, exactly the same. A pleasure to deal with this company that employs people who understand customer service.
