Amazing items and even more amazing staff. We bought few items for spare bedroom and it made it look so stylish that we decided to use them in master bedroom instead. Fantastic sandalwood diffuser! Shop definitely worth a visit.

Great selection of furniture and other decorative items such as rugs. A bit more pricey but very high quality items and very unique. Staff are great, really nice to speak with. Also worth checking their other store across the street, cloud 9 for smaller items. One of our favourite places for a Sunday stroll with our coffee
Fantastic service - the real benefit of a local small business. I wanted a specific mirror as a Christmas gift but couldn't get to the shop. I emailed a photo to Alan and he did the rest, even going so far as to deliver it for me. These are the little touches that set local small businesses apart.
Lovely things to buy in this store, but spending your money here ain’t great if the owner is in the shop. Tense, rude and does not like you looking at his products. So many other great and pleasurable shops to support in Leith/Easter Road.

House is a beautiful and original shop. It sells a unique range of household items, paintings, furniture, mirrors, accessories, cards, paint, candles and local crafts, designed to make your living space feel like home. Out of all the shops on Easter Road, Alan ( the owner of House and Cloud 9) has done the most to promote and donate to local charities, community art and support other small business owners. If you want to find excellent quality goods, from a business that is also committed to the sustainability of the local community, then pay House a visit.
