Finding an architect and builder to carry out an extension can be a daunting prospect. We were fortunate to find a local builder already working on a similar project to ours. We asked him to recommend a local architect. He had no hesitation in suggesting James at housExtend Ltd. We approached James and an initial consultation quickly followed. His professional fees were very reasonable, so we instructed James to prepare drawings, etc. James handled all the planning application with Cheshire West, and planning approval quickly followed. We would be happy to recommend James at housEXTEND.

James made a terrific job of designing and drawing up the plans for our new extension. He suggested a number of different layouts and was helpful throughout. He obtained listed building and general planning permission for a difficult proposition. His charges were very fair and his service efficient. Highly recommend.

James responded very quickly to my initial request for an architect. He explained the costs and we organised a date quickly for him to visit, measure up the house as it is and go over the required extension. All the stages were explained and the initial sketches sent were excellent. Upon the agreement to the sketches the finished drawings were sent, (also excellent). He has dealt with the local council, and am just awaiting final confirmation from the council to start the extension. I would recommend housEXTEND Ltd to anyone requiring building works.
