Highly recommend. Extremely knowledgable, professional watch makers/ repairs. Had my watch not working for a few years. Decided to get it fixed. One watch repairer wanted 380 and a 4 week wait (wrong diagnosis). D L Jones did in less than a week for 145. Friendly, professional and good value!!! Called and kept me updated every step of the way.

An expert horologist and his son. Genuine customer service- from the heart.Two lovely gentlemen! I made the mistake of taking my vintage watch for a 400 service at another establishment. It came back damaged. Mr Jones serviced my gold Vertex mechanical watch for 85. He’s been doing this for years and can probably do it in his sleep. If you have a vintage mechanical watch don’t take it anywhere else. I learned the hard way.
D L Jones & Sons is a lovely little family jewellers with good prices and a professional service. I had my engagement ring fitted with a pearl and the earrings I will wear for my wedding, cleaned. I had the time to wait for this service to be completed and once it was done not only the quality was great but the Price was very reasonable. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a beautiful range of affordable jewellery, watches, clocks etc. They have screens up and are clearly very covid secure. I'm very grateful to have my precious family heirlooms safely looked after and returned shiny clean.
I had previously taken a watch to a nearby shoe repair shop (who also said they did watch batteries, but obviously weren't very good at it) to have the battery changed. They couldn't get the back off but made a bit of a hash of the silver surfaces. I then took it to D L Jones and chatted to the charming owner who has been in the business since 1950! He said they would do their best to change the battery and buff the back. At 6.30pm that night I got a call to say that it was ready! All in all a brilliant service - the battery had been changed and the surfaces were back to new. Take some time to look around, it's a cornucopia of jewellery, watches, clocks and many other things.
