This restaurant was fantastic! Lovely service with a nice chat about Sri Lanka and delicious food! Generous portions, succulent lamb and even a couple of complimentary side dishes. At a total of 42, I would absolutely return to Moonstone!

Lovely authentic Sri Lankan restaurant and the service is excellent as well as the food. Not greasy and very accommodating to what we wanted as it was my sons 16th birthday. Well worth the hour drive to get there. Would recommend to anyone who loves Sri Lankan food!

I just moved to Brighton and being a Sri Lankan myself, I was really craving food from my home country which I missed so much. The food at Moonstone was fab and even I was impressed! Oh, and the kids loved the egg fried rice and fish curry here. We even told some Spanish diners what to order - and even they were impressed! Sitting here felt as if I was transported back to Sri Lanka with all the pictures and batik murals which reminded me of home. Great service here too although I was disappointed that the waiter didn't speak our language! Haha!Thank you, Moonstone!

Brilliant as always, even more so after lock down. Social distancing done right, with plenty of space between tables but that family restaurant vibe we love. The aubergine Ratatouille is incredible, the lemon rice, lentil dahl and squid meant we felt happy, full and so grateful that restaurants are open again.

Love this place. Great service and you feel very looked after. They have the best egg fried rice I've tasted, a great choice of curry and authentic side dishes and their Poppadoms are fantastic. Would highly recommend!!
