A little gem in Central Hove. Really nicely done and gives you a feel of being on holiday somewhere exotic. Drinks a bit pricey and the wine list starts well over 20. Not tried, but Montepulciano at 47 seemed a little excessive, but maybe its really good. The food however is on the top side of good and, in some cases, getting close to excellent. For starters the squid was done beautifully and tempura prawns very good. Again, possibly a bit pricey. But on to the mains and really good value. My lamb rump was one of the nicest cooked pieces of lamb I've had in ages. Beautifully presented and nice accompaniments including fondant potato and spinach, really nicely cooked. All in all, I will give it 8 out of 10. Worth a visit.

Nice breakfast, really liked the hash brown made with flour and deep fried like a pakora. Poached eggs were cold but not to complain.
Third Avenue cafe/restaurant in Hove, it occupies a corner plot opposite Hove Town Hall, with a very nice interior design and outside seating on the covered porch or pavement tables, serves cakes, tea/coffee and is great sitting outside on the porch relaxing with a paper to read.
Lovely environment, great staffs, fair price and mostly importantly, really delicious desserts!
Lots of space friendly staff and great freshly made cakes!!
