Howard taught me for around 2 years when I was 14 years old. I had absolutely no knowledge of music or ability to play before I plucked up the courage one day to book a lesson. From day 1 I was mesmerised by Howard's ability to play the acoustic guitar, and within just a few months, I was way ahead of others who had received tuition throughout school from a young age. He is patient, listens to you and takes time to find methods of teaching that work well for you. Most importantly, he sets the foundations for you to be able to choose what you want to learn, and as a result, he will help you to progress much faster than you could on your own. After 2 years I was able to teach myself quite complex songs and I can't thank him enough over 10 years later.
