Alistair has made me a bespoke alto saxophone, as I have small hands with a short span, and on a standard sax I was struggling to reach all the keys. My new sax fits me perfectly, is much lighter than my old one and looks and sounds amazing! I am utterly thrilled with it and I can't believe how mellow the tone is. I would 100% recommend Hanson built instruments.

My son is taught violin by the lovely Jenny Hanson, I could not wish for a kinder and more nurturing teacher. He has grown in confidence and musical ability during his 6 years with her. Recently, we as a family, joined the Hanson’s community arts groups - string, choir and ukulele group. The atmosphere is amazing and we are very much looking forward to performing as a family at Christmas time. I can not recommend the family run service this business offers enough - they are fabulous. My daughter plays the clarinet. When she reached the stage of needing her own instrument I didn't have a clue. Alistair at Hanson's showed us all the options, and we came away with a lovely instrument. He gave advice on how to purchase through school to keep in our limited budget. I am new to the musical instrument world so when I'm told by my daughter's teacher that she needs a s shorter barrel, again I'm bemused. A quick trip to Hanson's and I have an explanation of the need, a new barrel, a service of my daughter's instrument and a welcome cuppa. No charge! Because that's the service Hanson's offer. Thank you so much!
