To be honest my heart sank when we turned the corner under the bridge, traffic was backed up to the end of the lane.. it took roughly 30 minutes in the queue to drop our stuff off, which really wasn't that bad, it all seemed very orderly, in fact I prefer it this way rather than everyone trying to battle for a spot nearest the skip the want, and they even helped us with a large set of drawers ! Top blokes...

Always a half mile que to get into this place. The layout must of been thought up by a drunken donkey. Suez can't even empty your bins when they should never mind run a recycling centre. The sooner Kirklees Council end this contract with Suez the better
Nice to have a friendly lady greet us on arrival. MUCH more friendly than the usual 'long timers' there! However, it is very disappointing they can't find a way for people to recycle the more toxic items like paint, batteries, light tubes etc. The whole section is cordoned off due to coronavirus, so my toxic items had to go in general waste. I could have just put them in my bin instead of making the effort.
Extremely busy. Only 2 bays open meaning only 2 cars allowed in and emptied at any one time. 2hrs15mins wait from main road to entrance to tip.
