My husband was taken to hri trauma unit 14 days ago after a bad road accident. He is still in our local hospital but Ward 40 were amazing. Although I couldn't visit (due to lockdown) which was heartbreaking I feel that he had the best care at such a critical time...thank goodness for neuro specialists . Hes slowly gaining strength in his right leg but he remembers his family now. Tgank you Hull Royal xx
I was sent to A&E after visiting an injuries unit and getting checked first. (I handed in the report given to me by the injuries unit to confirm this). Dr at A&E accused me of just \turning up\, and didn't even have the decency to sit down and talk to me or review my records correctly. A large lump on your spine isn't reason enough for you to be sent apparently! A stereotypical example of a middle class male on a power trip, who talks and looks down on others, as a result they failed in their duty of care to me as a patient. If you are treated badly please ensure you report it to the PALS service, poor treatment will not stop unless we say something, I'm certain if you or I have been treated badly, many others have too, unless we speak out this practice will continue, we all deserve fair treatment.
After recent brain surgery can't praise Hull Royal and ward 4enough. Every single person went above and beyond to give me the best possible care. outstanding
Waiting times are much longer that what they say. Trouble makers gets in before anyone anyone else. Free healtcare comes with huge price of poor performance. Would prefer to spend the money they take from my wages on private health services instead. But guess what it's not optional because they would loose a lot of money.
