Ian is a very adaptable teacher. I am a 67 year old keyboard beginner, but with a reasonable knowledge of music theory, having played guitar and bass for 50 years. He has been able to make good use of what I already knew (while correcting what I thought I knew!) and concentrate on my technique, so progress has been quicker than I expected. Thanks Ian.

I started lessons with Ian a few months ago and couldn’t be happier. I also asked him to teach my young daughter. He’s a very patient and accommodating teacher and an immensely talented player; he teaches and plays many genres and is very open to ideas. 5 stars!!!

I have been coming here for a while now for piano lessons and can I just say that I've learnt more with Ian then I did at high school, he's so caring and patient with you as he teaches you and the lessons are brilliant and can be a great laugh! I love visiting once a week for my lesson to see what craziness I get today Haha! But all in all such a talent and brilliant teacher!

Excellent teacher I am a 'mature', student with 40 years keyboard playing experience, Ian is 'coaching' me out of bad habits and teaching me new techniques.For the first time I can play by ear!!!!!!
