My family have used Golden Curry all of my life (30 years) and my dad, Mike had been using Golden Curry for many years prior. Living in Barking all my life, and with Indian being my favourite food, I have tried most establishments but trust me when I say that Golden Curry is the best Curry House in Essex/East London (probably wider)!!! Every item on the menu is quality and the service is second to none. To say the boys at Golden Curry are friends of the family shows how much this place is loved by hundreds if not thousands of customers far and wide. Don’t waste your time searching for alternative options! Much Love, The Kelly family

This is a pretty good place with some good curries and roties. Their curry is designed to suit British palate and so the taste is not authentic, but this is not such a bad thing.

2021 review: great, will be ordering again. We got takeaway via Just Eat - it arrived hot and fresh. Everything cooked well and as you'd expect. The lamb in my bhuna was a tiny bit chewy, but that is kinda how it goes and it tasted good. The chicken shashlik was a nice amount of chicken and veg. Breads were tasty and poppodoms tasted good - not oily or off (which suggests a clean kitchen and clean oil). Honestly just a classic takeaway curry. Can't wait to go in person as I know it's a popular spot.
