Amazing food and friendly staff. Watan provides a range of Pakistani/Afghan food and the dishes have a very unique and lovely taste. Will definitely be visiting again. I recommend the platters and the Chapli Kebab.

I wish I could give it 0 stars, waited 45 mins for a meal that didn't come, so we walked out. They tried to give us the mains when we asked for our starters first! What a load of rubbish.

Fantastic food, we had to wait an hour to get in as they don't take reservations which was a bit of a pain, however, it was worth it with the delicious food. Really tasty

Food was good, iftaar delivery was on time, everything was good, except the salad. We ordered a set meal for 3 plus extras, I would have expected more by the way of the salad.... photos attached with one slice of tomato removed......there were two slices of tomato, one shread of cabbage, three black olives, a few slices of cucumber on a wet bed of lettuce...come on Watan.....salads are the one thing that restaurants can afford to give out more of, and a small container like this isn't even enough for one person, let alone 3.

Slow service, but grill food was better than I was expected. Green sauce was really tasty. Curry's taste was not up to my standard. Also naans were expensive but not quality.

Having previously visited Watan in Southall I knew it would be a true delight to have one open locally in Ilford. Food and Service have always been EXCELLENT. I have made several visits with family and with friends, each and every time was very well looked after.

This transported me to a meal I had in Pakistan. Meat cooked per weight and fresh. You need to wait a little longer than usual but hey its damn worth waiting for. Your senses will be blown away and you will not be disappointed. Spices are kept simple yet effective!!!! Prepare to pay approx 20 per karahi but you will not regret. Any left overs can be packed and enjoyed the next day (or as a midnight snack)

Last night my son ordered lamb karahi and chicken kebabs through UBER EATS. Food arrived on time but when we open it not looking good and it’s not lamb it’s sheep karahi smell not good kebabs full of salt presentation very poor.when phone them tell about quality they said they can’t do anything when you order next time we will give you some discount. Never even think or recommend this restaurant to any one
