On a family holiday to North Devon, so spent the day in Ilfracombe, came across this restaurant by chance. We were a group of 12 people, the restaurant were so helpful and friendly. Great choice of dishes, the Cod and Chips were the best i've had in a long time, so moist and crispy, generous portions. The best in North Devon. The whole family enjoyed their food and we all remarked on how good it was. Will definitely go again, next time we are in the area. 10/10 guys, thank you for your hospitality, wonderful family business.

Shown to the table, and service was quick, me and my wife had the fisherman special with a pot of tea, what was fish and chips with a small pot of mushy peas. In minutes we were served our meal, when others was still waiting. When the meal came the chips was just warm, my wife left half her meal, I should have said something at the start of the meal, but did not tell them until I paid the bill, I will not go there again.i

Wow what a fantastic experience. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and the food was excellent. A huge portion of freshly cooked fish and crispy chips filled our bellies. We left happy and will definitively return. Sunday and Monday has the fabulous Sam staffing your table. He made our visit

Exactly what I expect from a chippy and more. Fish (Place) was outstanding, curry sauce was on point, chips were perfection and tea was smashing. The battered sausage was good but only had half to leave room for my first deep fried Mars Bar - this was a treat which I refused to share with the kids who were already tucking into their free ice cream. All served by great staff.
