I loved the ‘woodwork for beginners’ 2-day course. Nick was brilliant; very informative, encouraging and patient. I’ve definitely come away feeling excited to crack on with a project at home and now have more confidence and (if I’m not deluded) skill. Can’t wait to do more...

If you're interested in learning more about working with wood in a warm and welcoming environment, I'd highly recommend going to see Nick at the Wharfedale Workshop. Nick's a great tutor, catering for all abilities with an infectious passion for wood and craftsmanship.(although could.improve his pop master answers ) All in a great workshop, with great facilities in a lovely location in Ilkley. Highly recommended
Nick is an awesome teacher - very patient and super passionate about all things wood working. The classes are pretty small (no more than 6), so he's able to provide attention as and when required. Highly recommend if you want to develop or freshen up on your wood working skills.
We booked a 2 x day course and it was great. Nick covered as much as he could, cool workshop nice people and we worked on the basics on how to cut dove tails, the use of saws the art of planing .... it was exactly what I needed to help get me started.
Brilliant course! Nick is really friendly and welcoming, and very knowledgable. Guided us through the concepts and lots of hands on application. Loved it, great weekend, thank you!
Great intro to woodwork course in lovely workshop. Nick was very knowledgeable and patient. It was a really fun and informative 2 days. I'll definitely be back for a more advanced course!
