So I was really happy with the service I received there was a bit of a mix up and the host or manager of the train fixed the issue and gave me a upgrade if I ever get this train again I will buy the best suit as a thanks for making a brilliant end to my holiday.

I realize we are all struggling in these crazy times, so I hesitate dinging businesses... but this is a luxury service and they should do a better job of communicating with their customers. I had a reservation cancelled by Caledonian Sleeper even though I had called them up specifically to be sure I still had a reservation. For the price they expect customers to pay, this sort of mistake is surprising. I've not managed to have a trip on this service yet because my reservations were cancelled, so I can't speak to the actual train experience, but they get 2 stars because it is actually possible to get a hold of a human on the phone. Not that it did me much good. They also refunded my ticket very quickly.

Environmental and budget friendly way to travel between London Euston to Glasgow/ Edinburgh/ Inverness/ Aberdeen/ Ft Williams etc. Sleeper cabins are perfect to avoid on hotel costs, while being gently rocked to sleep. In Edinburgh, even sleeper class holders get access to first class lounge.First class cabins are similar but with the upper berth removed. Access to lounge car for both classes, is an added bonus. Tickets can be booked upto 12 months in advance, for best prices.

Had a lovely trip from London to Edinburgh with my husband. The service was wonderful and the cabin was clean and well appointed. The sleeper car is quite bright, even with the lights off. The en-suite has a bright night-light. A sleep mask is provided, but if you are not accustomed to wearing them you might find it difficult to sleep. Other than that, I’d highly recommend it.

We arrived on time from London-Euston 0840 on the sleeper. As it was still too early to check in to the hotel, we went to check out the lounge for 1st class passengers, which is across the road from the train station. A very warm welcome from Davie, who was manning the lounge. A very friendly fella. Small, but cosy and comfortable lounge with hot & cold beverages and snacks. Toilets are very clean. And there's also free showers. Towels provided upon request.

It's nice to go to sleep and wake up in Inverness. We were on the older model train which is outdated. But it was still fun. Used the buffet car for a nightcap, friendly staff.

My first journey at Caledonian Sleeper from London to Glasgow (17.07.19 @ 23.50). It’s ok for a long journey in night time... comfortable than virgin trains... however, I found toilet was totally blocked... no sanitary napkins were available... toilet‘s dirty water overflowing....!!!
