Happy happy to cane back to the leisure centre as I love it. I started to use the leisure centre since I came to Inverness. I started with a climbing gym and later at the gym but I don't much like climbing wall as mostly not much change to the route and some time very busy before covid. (We need really good climbing gym here in Inverness) Now I like the gym for early morning as not much busy and another reason I like to wake up early morning to get a longer day. Swimming pool it's just like swimming and not much big but fine and also there is family leisure water available for the family to enjoy and relax. During covid sunna closed and you can't use it at the moment for our safety. You have to do online booking for each day and possible to book for only one week, not more. Please make sure you clean your station at the gym after used and keep a distance for safety to stop spreading covid. If we follow the rules we can use leisure centre and keep going. Best value gym in town. Just reopened with Covid restrictions in place, seems to be working fine. No health suite (Sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room) for the time being due to social distancing requirements
Great leisure centre. Excellent variety of classes with exceptional instructors. Very covid friendly and always staff around to help if needed.
Went to the pool on my birthday, the water flumes and slides and wave pool were really fun and their locker system is great, no bulky keys to carry around and having to remember 20p every time you come. The vertical slide is so scary but still really fun. This has definitely been one of the highlights of my trip, we're in Scotland for a week.
only lane swim.ing so didnt go in was with my granddaughter so went to botanic gardens and cafe next to it and had a good time we both enjoyed it very good cakes and scones staff very friendly at both places
Fabulous fitness and recreation facility in the heart of the highlands.
I loved this place when I was a kid so I thought I'd take my kids now. It's not changed much but doesn't seem dated. I've been a few times with them now and there always seems to be at least one of the flumes not open which is a annoying because my eldest always wants to try the one that's closed. Also the outdoor pool isn't always open. So best to phone ahead on the day to double check what is going to be available on that day.
