Really irritated as this morning as I was at Tesco’s with my mum and 7 year old sister. Got absolutely humiliated when so called “Mr Nice Guy Alan” or even better known as “The Inverurie Santa” decided to go through my bag that I came in with that had juice bottles from Morrison’s ( that is no longer sold at Tesco’s ) at the self service scanning, and falsely accusing my mum of nicking saying she got it from there, after her politely saying it isn’t from there, he then snatches it off my mum and holds it in the air shouting and gobbing off saying that they do sell that there. As my sister is absolutely terrified, Then Alan continues to run up to one of the employees, saying that we are nicking and then the employee searched it up on the system and found out they do not stock it anymore at Tesco’s, as my mum asks for it back, he refuses to give it her shouting that he wants her barred and security to be called, and the manager. As the manager was off we spoke to the replacement as he then searched it up on the system again and apologises for the inconvenience, and asks to not take other bags in to avoid confusion. As Alan storms off to the next customer with his fake act talking to children, still no apology. Never had any problems with the staff at Tesco’s and normally served by a lovely woman in self service. Alan is never any help as he’s always too busy doing something else, instead of his job.

The good: staff are helpful and food is quite good. Cafe is OK. The bad: Even staff on the tannoy call their store \Tescos\. It's bad enough hearing it from local illiterates, you'd think those that work there know where they work. The fruit and veg have no expiry date on them, so you end up throwing them away too early just incase...how do you know if you bought a bag of cherry tomatos last week or two weeks ago???

Community room upstairs is a wonderful hidden gem of a place. As you can see in the photo it's bright and clean and there's a kichen space for tea and coffee. I've held community baby classes here and found it easy to book through the community contact. Just ask at the service desk.

Insolent and cheeky manner from the staff, shelves bare, unprecedented times but this is not an excuse for staff to give paying customers a dressing-down as they see fit especially when I was following all the social distancing guidelines posted at the door. will shop at M&S round the corner from now on
