Thought it was worth peace of Mind - Took Mini In for winter check and Free Umbrella - turned out needed replacement caliper/ Brakes so very pleased with my last visit. Mini was cared for over night and returned the next day - Shiny and Safe

From start to finish, my experience with Cooper Ipswich Mini was outstanding! I originally took my Mini in for a service back in March last year and fell in love with the new style models and especially one of the new colours, Starlight Blue. I've always dreamed of building my own mini, fully kitted out to the max and that's exactly what Cooper Ipswich helped me do. The team were fantastic and they really did do a good job with the whole process, but Niall in particular really helped make my dream build possible. He could see how passionate I am about Mini's and he helped me get exactly what I was after. He even helped me get what I wanted after building the car and I am very grateful for this. Niall always went out of his way for me, making requests after the build, so I got exactly what I wanted and did not miss anything. The main extra I always wanted was a Starlight blue mini with a red roof and sunroof. Niall told me that mini would not build this in the factory. Even so he really did go out of his way for me to get the roof sprayed at Cooper Ipswich, after the car was built and delivered and it just looks stunning! Thank you Niall, for all your effort you put into making my dream car and thank you Cooper Ipswich for everything.

We booked our vehicle in for a service and MOT and 24 hours before our visit we received an email requesting we arrive at 7am. What a shock. However, it says because of lockdown special measures were in place and it was imperative we arrived promptly to avoid prolonging our visit to the public areas. We arrived just before 7am to an empty showroom and a barrier that is, understandably, locked at night. At 740am we saw a succession of staff arrive though no one challenged or acknowledged our presence. When we finally arrived at the showroom the receptionist pointed at her watch and mouthed “we don’t open till 8am”. We showed her our email and asked if we could drop off our keys as we had been waiting such a long time and pointed out that although we understood they didn’t open till 8am, the email Said otherwise. We were tired and to be honest, angry at having been left waiting for so long for what was clearly a mistake on their part. We also pointed out we did not blame the receptionist (the messenger) as clearly we did not know who made the mistake. At no point did we receive any apology and we even asked whether there was anyone there who would be prepared to acknowledge a mistake was made but none was forthcoming. We rang to prompt them as to when our car was ready and again no apology was offered. The car was supposed to be cleaned inside and out but again this was not done properly. The boot wasn’t touched and the cost of our service, MOT and repairs were nearly 800. A little bit of hospitality and service would have been the least we expected when parting with our hard earned cash. We have decided we will not return to this showroom again. Their service was pretty average and they simply refused to accept any of this was their fault in fact, we were made to feel that we had done something wrong. Unacceptable behaviour from this service industry and we have decided to take our custom elsewhere.
