You’ll find Tavernetta Italian Restaurant in the very heart of Ipswich on St Peter's Street, not a million miles away from Ipswich train station or right next to ample car parking if you’re driving. Have eaten here a few of times now. The pizza is very English - too much oily cheese with not a lot of focus on the toppings/base/or sauce. The pasta is better, but the two times I’ve had it, it’s been cold! Not overly impressed by the service either.

Wonderfully authentic Italian/Sicilian restaurant with attentive staff, delicious food and a homely yet classy aesthetic. Will definitely be back. My only regret is that I wasn't able to leave a gratuity on the card machine and didn't have any cash for a well-deserved tip at the end of the evening. I'll make it up next time!

Went there by chance. Very friendly especially as only one of us was eating! Husband had the quid which i thought was ok but not amazing, it came with a salad that he said was good and he was very happy. He then had Pizza that I stole bits of, very good pizza, not sure what anyone has to complain about the pizzas, we would happily return to eat there. The only reason its not 5 stars is not impressed with the tiramisu, it wasn't awful but we have had better. However if we lived locally would happily keep returning

One of the best Italian places in the UK. Reminded me of the mouth watering tastes from my visit in Italy itself. The lasagna is mouth watering. The pizzas are rich and feels great to eat. Amazing drinks as well.
