I have no hesitation in recommending Elizabeth Caton Food and Wine. We originally booked Lizzie & Charlie in early 2020 (after a fantastic tasting at their HQ) to cater for our smallish September wedding. When it became clear that even this would not be possible they willingly switched from canapes and dinner for 50 to a garden picnic for eight without missing a beat. On the day our selection of food (from an amazing list) was delivered bang on time, in its own chiller and charmingly presented - all we had to do was dive in. And it was all DELICIOUS. We chose the Catons partly because their food was a little different, rather more imaginative than others, but also because it was just so tasty. We are already looking forward to next year when with luck we'll be having a larger celebration and more Caton catering.

We were very lucky to have them cater for our wedding. The food and the service they provided was exceptional! We were extremely happy with them. They helped us formulate a menu which catered to our very specific tastes. They were also super helpful with sorting out food allergies, waiting staff, table linen and bar staff. They helped make our day fantastic and everyone was talking about how smoothly everything ran and how much they enjoyed the food! Thank you to the whole team!
We would highly recommend Lizzie and Charlie! We wanted caterers who could cook our chosen custom menu (burgers!) rather than give us pre-made options and booked them after an amazing tasting of burgers and dessert at their house. We were originally having a 100-person wedding in May, which was postponed to October, then became 30 people, then became 15. Lizzie and Charlie were so flexible the whole way through and made our chosen menu work for our 'micro wedding'. The food was great and everything worked so well on the day and I know guests appreciated how much thought Lizzie and Charlie had put into ensuring the way the food was served was Covid-secure. Although we couldn't have an evening wedding party, they made us some homemade curry and naans to cook ourselves in the evening which were also delicious. Thank you!
Lizzie and Charlie catered for our wedding in June 2019 at Angel House with a mixture of canapes and bowl food at a stand-up party. They also ran our bar for us (with a really reasonable corkage charge and us supplying the booze). They were fantastic from start to finish and we received a lot of compliments about the food from our guests! They were super-flexible around our budget and helpful with advice and had loads of experience to draw on. I also want to make a special note about how wonderful their staff were. Everyone who worked on the event was incredibly professional and lovely to deal with. We had a wonderful wedding day as they sorted everything and the catering and bar ran like clockwork so we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. If you are looking for a caterer who will work with you and your budget and then let you get on with enjoying yourself I can't recommend them enough! Thank you again to Lizzie and Charlie and all their staff for making our day so special and one we will never forget.
Superb caterers! I would highly recommend Elizabeth and Charlie. I used them for my son's Christening and they made the whole event really special and beautiful. From consulting with me on the menu, to the set up, service and of course the food and drink - every detail was thought about carefully and carried off with style. The canapes and bowl food were absolutely delicious and the staff they hired were very professional and friendly. After everyone had left it was such a pleasure not to have to tidy anything up, and I got so many positive comments from the guests. They really made the day. Thank you Lizzie and Charlie!
