This is a proper hostel as they should be. For the loan traveler exploring what the islands have to offer. The hostel is good. But as with any hostel its the interaction and story swapping in the evenings which make a stay more pleasant. Not advised for large groups or those in a rush.

This is the best hostel I have stayed in. The place is warm and welcoming. The bedrooms are well laid out and comfortable. Showers and toilets were clean. Kitchen and common room are excellent and once the fire is lit it is so cozy. The surrounding area also has a lot to offer. Well worth a visit

Stayed here while hiking the Hebridean Way. This was such a cozy hostel. The kitchen is well equipped and it has lots of board games. It operates on an honesty box, which makes the atmosphere of the hostel even better. There‘s some space to put up your tent outside. Only downside were the birds, which made some really annoying sounds in the night. Like screeching. But you might me lucky not to experience them. Would definitely recommend staying here!!!

Great hostel. We were there right before HebCelt so most people were on their way there and every bed was filled! It was a great time though. Kitchen has everything you need to cook except food. Beds were cosy and everyone was friendly and jolly! Great views all around!

One of the famous Gatliff Hostels; great place with a very cosy common room. Just a few minutes from The Hebridean Way. When we were there it was not very busy and enough beds left. It can get very crowded though, but no one ever gets turned down. Also some room for camping; for a lower rate.

Comfy bunkhouses with good beds, power showers and a decent kitchen. Bike shed was handy too! Great value although pick up supplies from shops in advance

Lovely place. You meet nice people. There's a big kitchen and plenty of kitchen utensils for everyone to use. Bed 15, tent 10. No reservations
