I sent Ivor a scan of a 30 year old photo of my father which was still in its cracked frame and stuck to the glass. The emulsion was breaking down, leaving little white dots. Within a couple of days, Ivor had fixed the glass crack showing from the scan, removed the telephone wire running across my father's head, filled in the areas damaged where the photo was stuck to the glass, sorted out the little white dots caused by the emulsion breaking down, adjusted the image so it was square in the frame and improved the contrast. The result - a picture of my father as though it was taken yesterday! A brilliant and amazing outcome, way beyond my expectations for a scan of a 30 year old photo in a cracked frame, stuck to the glass.

My friend and I had a 2.5 hour bespoke photography course with Ivor, to allow us to get more out of our cameras and better understand how to get good pictures of various things from landscapes to wildlife. I was given a 7 hour one to one photographic course from my wife for Christmas, What a great present, which I thoroughly enjoyed, Ivor is very knowledgeable and has an easy coaching style which compliments learning, with a mix of theory followed very quickly by practical demonstrations and clear explanations. There were plenty of opportunities to use the camera and this further enhanced the experience. Thoroughly enjoyable and educational throughout. I learnt so much about my camera it’s settings and how to get the best out of it. I am now full of enthusiasm and much more confident in the use of my camera and am sure this experience has provided a really good foundation to build on, I would not hesitate to book other courses, workshops with Ivor in the future and fully intend to! Ivor also provides excellent support through emails or Facebook which is reassuring. Ivor has a flexible approach taking into account things like the weather and your personal needs and circumstances.
