Historic landmark. I liked The Tok Tok garden. Mind the crocodile.

The museum is interesting for sure, it is very small (as it is an old terraced house) and unfortunately due to this and most of the exhibits not being protected I don't think suitable for children to visit however as a lot of information is about the author himself it is very much more interesting for adults to visit and I would urge everyone interested in JM Barrie to do so, also as you are not permitted to take pictures in the house I have attached a couple from the small garden outside.

Very curious attraction/museum. The place where JM Barrie, the writer of Peter Pan was born and raised for many years. You can see it as it’s very well conserved, with its garden. Actually there’s two houses, but the real one was the one on the left. You can see some hand written first editions from his works, although they weren’t written here but somewhere else in England. Most impressive, the clothes worn at the first play of Peter Pan. Small shop to buy souvenirs

Visited again today same lady on duty.Tries very hard to sell membership explaining a percentage comes back to the selling project. If you can get over the hard sell the house is well laid out and over this Easter weekend there are special activities for children of all ages to make the most of the visit A good place to visit but be warned about the membership hard sell.

Amazing to think how the genius of Barrie was born in the small weavers cottage in Kirriemuir. Lovely set up and brilliant to see the enthusiasm for the town's history here and at the Camera Obscura.
