I've never been, I live Australia actually, but I received a copy \The Golden Apples of the Sun\ by Ray Bradbury from an online second hand book store, and according to the the stamp on the first page it was from this school's English department. All in all, I loved the book and it was in near perfect condition, a 5/5 from me.

My daughter went here years ago it was awful then, she is in the process of moving because she does not want her children in this school, sorry to say I'm of the opinion that teachers have no clout these days and that's a big part of the trouble, no respect from kids today ! My grandchildren at the moment they are still young, wouldn't dare disrespect anyone because they know the consiquences. Parents are to soft and self absorbed on their phones to worry about the kids !

Stay away from it. I taught there briefly. Behavioural management is atrocious, and has a lot to do with the management. A kid almost recklessly burned the school to the ground during exam week in 2015, and received just 5 days suspension (fixed term exclusion). Meanwhile, teachers are rotated and turned over as if they're just machines to be rented and shipped out. By the end of the year, all 7 male science teachers, for instance, had left or had been asked to leave, with an expat teacher leaving after just 4 days. It's disrespectful to staff, but it's also disastrous for behavioural management. No or little rapport between teachers and students, with little care given to younger years, only for GCSE grades in the later years. Even so, the mathematics pass rate was at 45% the last time I heard. I've been reading comments below about how acist\ some teachers are at this school. What do you expect with teachers periodically receiving the F word from students, monthly or in my case, even weekly? But God forbid the head teacher would exclude any of these trouble-makers, as that would mean less funding towards the school. It was almost impossible for a rat bag at that school to get expelled, and hence some of us teachers would serve as the sponge.

This is a great school, unlike voyager. The only downsides are: Not many teachers will allow students to go to the toilet and the year 10 to 11 food tech lessons are ruled with an iron fist.
