Can get a bargain but not often enough. Staff are pleasant most of the time

I was there with my son for a new pair of trainers. I had to ask on 2 occasions for him to try on a pair of shoes. We where not sure of his size as kids grow so fast. They do not have a foot measure. I asked the member of staff to which they replied we are not a shoe shop. Well you are selling shoes. Are you not. So the staff eventually had to get several pairs of to try on. having tried a pair of trainers and my son was happy with the size we were asked to proceed to the till. once we stood at the queue for the till and the staff member then said they could only find one of the shoes I just told them to forget about it. We had been in the store for 30 minutes. Total terrible experience ) service,and we will not be back. Internet is your best friend.
Went here on Monday for a Christmas present everything fine until I got to the till. Two young girls one serving me and one talking to the girl serving me. The conversation which I wont go into was about some fella living in Rathcoole it was still going on when I left the till . The only words spoken to me were do you want a bag . This is what gets young one's in retail a bad name. I had came here after shopping in Belfast all morning and met some really lovely young people. I know some of these jobs are only for Christmas but to just stick your hand out for money not to even say how much I'd to pay really bad I won't be back.
Plenty of choice in all departments. Very helpful, friendly staff. The security guy was even able to advise me and direct me to the department I needed. Some very keen prices in all departments, in this store too.
Massive store good selection
I went into the JD Sports shop in Abbeycentre in mid-January. There was quite a big sale on that day. JD sometimes do exceptional bargains in foot-wear but usually when I go to buy a pair of such trainers they don't have my size despite the fact that the shoes on display say they are available in my size. You would think that the first time this happens the display would be amended to reflect this. Otherwise the shop is very colourful, the staff very helpful, there are good bargains to be had and the stock is of very good quality. I always like going into the shop.

Excellent staff here. Made a purchase and forgot to ask for a gift receipt at another branch so nipped into the Abbeycentre on the way home to get one and the staff could not have been more helpful. He went out of his way to find the best solution without me having to pay for the item twice and wait for a 3-5 day refund. Other members of staff were also very friendly to other customers whilst I waited.
