Me and my wife had a fantastic day glass blowing with Jonathan, I cant recommend it enough, if you are interested in trying glass blowing then book a lesson, my wife arranged this as an anniversary present as I've always found it fascinating. Jonathan is a great teacher, patient and generous, explaining the processes and helping you to understand the materials and tools, the 1 day course is aimed at beginner's with no experience (That's me) yet you really get to experience so much that by the end of the day all you will be thinking about is when you can do it again! Thank you Jonathan for an awesome day

This is a relaxed and friendly course. Jonathan creates a lovely atmosphere in which to learn in his spacious studio. Jonathan's masterpieces are a delicate blend of angelic beauty and deceptive mass. Jonathan allows you to make what you want whilst teaching you all the basics of glass blowing. It is somewhat liberating being able to let your imagination run wild rather than adhereing to set of predetermined projects. I could not recommend enough. It's lots of fun and very comprehensive. It's mesmerising to see a master glass blower work. After seeing Jonathan work, I now understand that just how unequivocally skilled this man is.

Last Saturday my wife and I did a full day workshop with Jonathan. We’ve done a lot of different experience/ workshop days and this was the best. The workshop was clean, spacious and well equipped. Jonathan is a great guy, a very good tutor and he explained things clearly. He started us off with some small technique pieces before moving on to making a paperweight before lunch. In the afternoon we made vases and baubles. We had lots of choice over our designs with a Jonathan guiding us to ensure it was achievable. Jonathan’s own work is stunning, and to have someone of that standard teaching us was great. The fact that it was just two of us in the class meant the day flowed well. We’re already thinking we might make a return visit. Worth every penny. There’s a very good little cafe on site, so our lunch break was a real treat too.

Had a wonderful day learning to work glass. It was amazing. Jonathan is so knowledgeable and such a great teacher. I loved the fact that I got to make something entirely out of my imagination rather than just a set piece. He's very generous with his time and putting his equipment, in the hands of rank amateurs is so brave! Jonathon's own pieces are amazing, and I'm so envious of his incredible skill. My weird productions won't be nearly as graceful but they will be my ideas and I'm so chuffed about that. We had SUCH a great day! I'm plotting how to do it again.

Awesome day with Jonathan. Was a surprise present for my wife who got obsessed watching glass blowing while on a cruise. She got the chance to make some really fantastic pieces. His tuition style is great and very patient. He has some amazing pieces in his studio so if you are looking for that distinctive piece of art or a day experience then well worth a visit.
