Avoid . Had 3 months of problems with electric fire purchase and return . Told fire would fit standard opening... it didn't it was too high. Told cable would pass through hole in wall of fireplace to be linked to electricity supply. It had moulded plug on that wouldn't. If cut plug off to do this you invalidate your warranty. When we returned it we had a very negative and dismissive response. Told it was our fault we should have had a survey.. We were never offered one. We asked lots of questions about the insert dimensions too and based our decsion to purchase on the information received. When we stated this we were told that the shop 'doesnt give advice'!!!.Told we had to pay 20% restocking fee 80 . Was actually charged 97.00 ??. Had to seek CAB and Trading Standards advice. Finally got money returned by Credit Card Company who said that it was a hidden charge . A miserable experience.
