42 to use their website for a few minutes... Booking fees on tickets are never refunded should the event be fully cancelled. I recently paid for 6 tickets for friends and I to attend an event that was cancelled (before it began) due to terrible weather. There was a booking fee of 7 per ticket purchased, so an extra 42 was paid on top of the ticket costs to secure them. I appreciate that weather conditions are completely out of everyone's control, however the festival organiser have to refund the ticket price at face value, and as an associate of the organiser, Kaboodle should have the responsibility to refund booking fees paid by customers who have been left disappointed. I have essentially paid 42 for the privilege of using the Kaboodle website for a few minutes, which annoyingly, I was directed to from the official website of the festival provider in order to buy tickets. The organiser and end recipient have massively lost out here, but the middle-man continues to make profits. In the future I will try to avoid using Kaboodle at all costs and would urge others to do the same when it comes to booking tickets for events.
