Doing takeout in lockdown and has some great vegan dishes and beers. Was about 15 minute wait and had a pleasant chat with the barman. He told of how, in normal times, the place was alive with a buzz and music and people. The canopy outside was filled with diners and smokers who sat peacefully as they watched the rain falling outside. The take-out food was lovely - came with a lovely extra potato dish. My dish was vegan and \Hot\ but was actually not bad, which was grand. Suggestion would be a new menu outside (the existing one is misted beyond recognition). Then I tried to leave... and they told me it was the Hotel California and I never could. Still there now, but don't think anyone will notice until the end of lockdown.

Worst takeaway I've had. I know it was new year's eve and very busy but no excuse. Shame really as I have had some really nice meals
