A hidden gem on Normanton Road; We visited today for the first time for lunch, the welcome from the staff was nice and we were seated promptly and given a menu. The menu is extensive and filled with lovely looking dishes. We opted for the mixed grill, before it arrived we were given a complimentary soup which was delicious. The food came promptly and wow it was amazing. Cooked to perfection, the flavours were amazing, the side salad was fresh and the naan bread tasty. Great value for money too. What a find, I will be back to try one of the other dishes soon

The first thing that hit me was the kindness of the staff, receiving people with a smile and simplicity. They made us feel at home. When you look at the menu, everything is explained in simple but you don't get the real idea of the portions: large and presented with elegance. At first taste you get hit by the flavour: delicious, yet simple. No artificial flavours added. No grease, no sugar, nothing except full flavour. The soups, sauces, meat, vegetables, all natural and delicious and the prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. It gets five stars from me and, if you try it, I am sure you will agree. For the family, for date night or for a moment of me time.
Recently been to this place and I loved the food. It was hot fresh and tasty. I like the lamb minced kebabs, cooked over coal fire.
I gave these guys 5 stars because the staff and their dishes deserve 5 stars according to my experience! I may say this is the best Kurdish little restaurant in Derby!
