Had a brilliant canoe the view experience. Had never been canoeing before and I was really nervous as we're other members of our group however we were put at ease immediately. The guidance and support was brilliant, the knowledge of the local wildlife, plant and trees was impressive. Would definitely recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you for a brilliant morning.
Loved hiring a canoe for the threw of us. They staff were helpful and patient. Lovely way to see the mountains and enjoy the peacefulness of the lake. Great for families but be prepared to get splash if you are learning to row.
Had a wonderful day with our guide Debs. We did the canoo and bushcraft day and learned so much! We paddled the canoes, learned how to sail them back and went onto the islands and learned about the trees and fungi. All topped of with a cup of tea made from water we boiled over the fire Debs taught us how to light without matches. Would recommend to anyone coming to Keswick! Lovely local company.
Sean took us to the boathouse and gave instructions (me, 10 year old daughter and 19 year old nephew) and we set off around Derwentwater for 6km over 2 1/2 hours. Stopping at islands and learning canoe techniques. Very knowledgeable and competent - learning about paddling, conservation, mushrooms and poo boxes!! Thoroughly enjoyable helped by a glorious day. Highly recommended.
