Really lovely place to visit. Lots of variety in the walks including the Gruffalo Trail. Good play areas for kids, cafe was decent if a little pricey. Will return in the summer months for a more involved experience with bikes. Lovely views in pockets around the forest too...

A truly magical place. Overwhelmingly beautiful area of nature. There are 4 main walks of various length. I tried to follow the blue trail but got confused by the markers and ended up coming back the same way. Car park has number plate recognition so when you've finished your stay then just go to one of the pay machines type in your reg and it will tell you how much to pay. There are toilets by the visitor centre and a cafe.

Fab walks and even better views. Parking was plentiful and reasonably priced. Visitor info, gift shop and facilities were spot on. Keen to come back with the mountain bike sometime!
