Today I popped in to get a takeaway salted caramel latte and hot chocolate for myself and my partner. The assistant was very helpful, friendly and polite and the drinks were reasonably priced - just what we needed to warm us up on a chilly November afternoon! Even the dog was impressed

Not Starbucks, reflected in the more reasonable price, but a nice place to have coffee.

We always go here to have coffee and/or a sandwich but today I was very disappointed. The first sandwich I bought - bacon/chicken salad, the bacon was not cooked enough so was pink and a bit fatty and didn't taste very nice but to be fair the staff replaced it for me so I chose a brie/stuffing with cranberry toastie, however, when I open the to cool it down, I found that it barely had three very thin slices of brie in the whole sandwich and at over 4.00 a pop I don't think this is good value for money. I did take it back to show a member of staff and to be honest I expected a refund but this wasn't offered to me. The staff are always friendly and polite but on this I left feeling rather dissapointed. SB

Great little coffee shop - part of a local and tiny chain of 8 shops locally. They are all bright, light modern and comfortable. Chairs are comfy with plenty of armchairs and good WiFi. The coffee is good, the cakes are great and the sandwiches are local too. Well worth going to and they are open later than most places at the weekends too which is a bonus in a town centre that closes by 4 usually.
