Called the Kidlington branch (a 50 mile round trip) to ask if they are open between Christmas a New Year. Yes they said. So I drove all the way there to find them closed. It turns out their phones were diverted to another branch miles away, and I was speaking to them without knowing. Idiots. They have lost a customer.
