Blocking public road and driver refusing request to move. Obstructing access and parking for surrounding buildings and potentially emergency vehicle access. More training required for jobsworth staff member who seemed to think he was the only person in the world that a double yellow line doesn't apply to

I used Kilmarnock Removals for our move last week and I can't recommend the company highly enough. John and Greg had our whole house and garage loaded up in just over 2 hours, despite the 2 sets of stairs in our house they had to contend with. After loading they then waited over 5 hours for our keys to become available and although we had paid a late key fee in the off chance this may happen it must've been slightly frustrating for them but they remained friendly throughout. After such a delay a third team member showed up and pitched in to help the others. In record time the lorry was unloaded! I can't thank Kilmarnock Removals enough for all they did for us- they made a stressful day go as smoothly as they could and the communication I had with the team in the office was second to none. Such a friendly and reliable service and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Recently moved with this company. The removers arrived on time. Quickly moved my stuff into the van and then moved my stuff into my new home. Very competent. No problems. Happy to recommend.

Used this firm for a move from Glasgow to Fort William. We were quoted for the job and told one container would suffice. I was told late on the night of the move that the van was full and I’d have to pay for a second container. We did receive a second delivery at no cost - one week later - but there were lot of items from our garden left behind. The state of some of our furniture is heartbreaking. So many items badly scratched or chipped. To name but a few; antique display cabinet, coffee table, drinks cabinet, mahogany dressing table mirror, 2 bed frames - one of which was dropped & badly damaged by the owner’s son who thinks he is above all else!! If you use this firm make sure you are well insured. We found it the most stressful move ever due to the extensive damage to our furniture and the attitude of one particular team member. To be fair the owners did cover the 470 cost of the bed frame repair as we did not take their insurance as we were covered by our house contents insurance.
