Got attacked and had to get facial reconstruction because a girl in the hostil stole some things out my room and walked out ,I went to follow and there were two men 1at each end of the outside of my door ,I didn't see them ,they said to me she wants them and you are doing nothing about it so I went to a girl who was a friend to go with me to her door because I knew she was scared of this woman to get my stuff back and I did , their was no raised voices and no threats or violence and I left. 3days later I was walking to the hostil and one of the men that was at my door that night was hiding behind a van and I walked by and he came up behind me hit me with something metal on my temple and I spin round and staggered to the other side of the road and fell against a small wall,I tried to get up to defend myself and pushed my hands down to get up and my legs weren't working by this time he had walked back up to me and started to stamp my head into the wall I was propped up on and kicking my face so I reported it as well as25 others that were in the two pubs either side of us,hostel didn't even throw him out.
When I went into St Andrews Court hostel last November i was a mess, the staff were all absalutely brilliant wheather helping with forms & advice etc or just as people for talking to, & my experience of everyone who was staying there was also nothing but positive & the whole place really helped me get back on track at least with life & tbh i've missed the place since leaving especially the support & guidance it offered, couldnt speak highly enough of this facility, its staff & everyone connected to it.
Was full of junkies and really loud
