Beautiful restaurant overlooking the fishing loch. Has a great menu at affordable prices, sadly it's takeaway menu only just now due to the coronavirus restrictions. Local walkers, cyclists and fisherman use the popular kiosk cafe attached to main restaurant.

Bacon roll and latte takeaway. Delicious. Sat by the side of the water. Beautiful walk.

Great place to visit at all times and especially during restrictions where there's good safety measures in place. Carry out cafe a real bonus with high quality products for a well deserved treat

Really Disappointed today. I have eaten many times in the restaurant for lunch and celebratory lunches with friends and never been disappointed but today broke that record. Since Lockdown and my need to shield, I have used the takeaway on a number of occasions. After waiting about fifteen minutes to be served, which is understandable, I ordered among other things, a roll and sausage and tattle scone. Approximately another wait of fifteen minutes, it may have been more, I went back to the window to ask for any sign of my roll. I was given it in gig time. I don't know how long the roll had been ready but it was very cool, not cold and made worse as my tea had been served much earlier. Phoned them from my car and was offered replacements and informed they were "very busy in the kitchen with valentine boxes" of all things. No need to be defensive. An apology without trying to justify themselves would have been acceptableI. Today was about 1* above freezing but there was a wind and it felt much colder. I wasn't prepared to wait for another sausage to be cooked so, got a refund on my card. Sorry Lairds Table, you let me down after such a good record.

Great place for a walk and a coffee or lunch. Kids enjoyed seeing the Castle and watching the men fishing. Good facilities, fabulous scenery and lots to look at. Particularly enjoyed watching the daredevil kids on the treetops experience.

It is a beatiful setting, very welcoming and nice food. Would have been a 5 if there had been gluten free cake available. I believe they had run out. Better luck next visit.

Situated in the countryside, in parkland, with it's own fishing lake, enjoyed by, I noticed on my visit, by large numbers of leisurely fisherman, decorating the lake edge, and all dangling their fishing rods in anticipation of a good catch, the lake, fed by local streams has fish stocks added by the management. The lodge is designed in a very relaxed manner, the table designs are fascinating, worth a visit to enjoy, it offers huge selections of teas, cakes and light meals and coffee, which I prefer, was just the best. After your lodge visit, you can walk of the calories in their parkland paths.
