They have a special deal during the week, two sirloin steaks with chips and a bottle of wine (Italian) for 25. Nicely cooked with mushrooms and onion rings. The wine is not the greatest but goes well with the food. Service was good and we had a small room downstairs to ourselves. Recommended.

We had the 2 steaks with all the trimmings and a bottle of wine for 25 the steak was beautifully cooked and we managed to fit in a pud as well. Would definitely recommend
Not too busy on a cold December evening. Had a small room to ourselves (two of us). Excellent fish chowder with plenty of varied fish and prawns. Very rich, so glad I only ordered fish cakes for main meal. Next time will try the mussels and chips. Bottle of wine (NZ sauvignon blanc) for c16. We're asked to pay upfront, which we did, and meant we could leave when we were finished. Good social distancing by the servers and plenty of room between tables.
Good food, friendly People, nice old interior, could be a little bit cleaner.
The best Seafood chowder we have ever tasted. The atmosphere and service were also great so we had to come back for dinner the other night, too.
