What an afternoon! Beautiful patio area with attentive staff. Food was delicious, big portions, quality second to none. Covid distancing measures excellent, clearly explained to you before you book a table. Good value for money. If you're looking for a charming pub with nice surroundings and a log fire in the evening this is the place to be.

Loved it. Our first visit although have always heard only good reviews. The weather was good and so we sat outside. Very convenient to get to as just off the A10. Great food. Great menu. Great service

On a short break at Lakeside Fishing and Caravan Park, and as it's my birthday wanted to go out for lunch. They recommended you, and I'm glad they did. The food and service were superb. Thank you. Highly recommended ️

Great pub with roaring log fire, very cosy on a cold wet winter's evening. Goulash could have done with more kick though and rice was soggy sadly. Good pint of IPA helped make up for it

We sought out the Hare as the place looks beautiful and the menu was inviting. Unfortunately it was quite disappointing. The guy at the front of house was rude when we arrived, they'd run out of crab and lobster (the reason we travelled here) and the fish and chips we had were poorly cooked. The rest of the staff were friendly and cheery however. We're trying to support local pubs post-covid but good service still has to be there.
