Our baby was born in Kingston Hospital two weeks ago and we had the most positive experience anyone can imagine during all the time of staying in the hospital. We would like to say a very big thank you to our midwife Effie, who was helping to deliver our baby boy- she is just amazing person and what a professional staff ! Nicola, Alba, and everyone we just can’t thank you enough, we felt in very safe hands all that time and we would definetely recommend Kingston maternity unit as one of the best in London to have your newborn.

The maternity care itself was slightly disorganised on a couple of occasions and waiting times were crazy at points but overall Kingston are really good for antenatal care. The best experience was labour (the worst pain wise but I received amazing care) I would like to personally thank Kate G the midwife who delivered my baby. She was kind, thoughtful, patient and I felt supported every step of the way with her. We often complain about the NHS but we are so blessed to have this service and these people do not get enough praise for what they do. Thank you Kate and thank you Kingston Hospital for helping me being my baby boy in to the world safely and healthy. X
1. Lots of useless paper works, but when about to take decision and give answer no one remember or don't want to read first page of whats clearly written on it. 2. Doctor come and go, but no one really care about you, but always ask to sign paper works, they know someone can sued them. 3. Rooms are not really good condition. Wall damage, sealing damage. 4. Food is 5 out of 10 5. If no issue let you go too early, with paracetamol. 6. At entrance lady with sanitiser, but not let you go in if you don't know where you going, she don't have any information, and if your lover friend is unconscious good luck to found him. 7. Dear patients please record and picture, or you can not prove nothing Dear staff please give professional attitude with love to your job. If you can't do it, go and work in funeral.
After birth it is better to go home straight away not even staying 24h. The after delivery team were awful and rude, it s if you are at their homes and you are an unwanted guest. One of the nurses shouted at me after 12 hours after giving birth I felt so weak to respond as I was physically hurt, I had c section. The wort place to give birth at, would be going private next time...rude people.
I had my first baby at Kingston hospital in May 2019. I had such a positive experience. Me and my birthing partners have been treated kindly and compassionately. The staff are amazing, they worked together as a team to provide excellent care. I had a midwife with me at all times, monitoring myself and my baby. The midwife was always seeking guidance from senior midwife when unsure (which in my opinion is excellent practice). Midwife did not leave me even after his shift ended. He stayed to deliver my baby and made sure we were both doing well. The rooms were very clean, modern and spacious. I will definitely be coming back for my second baby.
