A little gem in the town. Small, yet contains a lot of interesting history and information. We were assited by a volunteer named Chris. He was very friendly and helpful. We found interesting facts, such as there were many clockmakers originated from Kington, but they were outnumbered by the amount of the local pubs . We also saw an antique clock transported back to its original place all the way from Kent. This completed our journey when we visited Kington. Thank you.

Very local history site with model of original railway yards, sadly long gone in the town itself. The real history of note is the Offa's Dyke path and the later Welsh Prince's efforts in the 14th. Century. Plenty of good walking country.
A delightful place, run by volunteers. I wish it every success.
A smart little town museum with friendly volunteers and a lot of interesting local information and displays. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here.
A very interesting local museum for Kington.
