Very nice first experience with ice climbing. We were a group of 2 persons and had one instructor just for us. Huw was a great instructor, patient and really friendly. At the beginning, we had tips and advices for the position to adopt on ice with the body and feet. Then, we could have 3 different climbs during the hour of activity. We definitely recommend it and the price was fair (30 pounds per person)

Above and beyond. Great place, helpful staff, clean, fun, lots to do. We had a blast. Note: Take good gloves for ice climbing. Give it a try, you might enjoy it!

Nice centre, we’ve been before! Currently closed though (because of Covid?). Could do with updating their google opening times :)

I love how people find new possibilities for old factory buildings and dare to actually invest their time and money in such projects. This is a great example and success. Really nice climbing experience for every age and lovely helpful staff ...and great (handmade) coffee too if you just need to get warm or dry again.

Amazing centre, incredible facility, lovely staff. As rock climbers we found the 'Hit the Ice' session really useful, learnt a lot and had a laugh as well. Also a very good place for local knowledge, recommendations and a bit of hot food and drink, so you can plan your next adventure whilst your arms recover from the pump that is ice climbing!

Great find whilst on holiday. Caters for the complete novice to rock climbing, so don't hesitate. Also has the world's biggest indoor ice wall. Café, bar and restaurant within. Excellent staff, particularly the tutor, James (thanks James). Food reasonably priced.

So I did the ice climbing experience with a bunch of friends I met on the west highland way and it was an awesome and unique experience! Thought that it will be really hard because I'll be exhausted from the trip(we did some really long days just before this including a 50km walk!) But surprisingly ice climbing is actually working on completely different muscles so we were just fine(still was hard nonetheless). Great instructor and great value for money in my opinion.

Great set up for climbing, with a variety of routes for all abilities. Cafe provided good grub for a reasonable price and it's a cozy environment for a winter indoor session. Friendly engaging staff. Hope to be back soon for some ice climbing!
