Lovely little corner shop with café inside. One of the only shops in York what has "American" drinks for sale at decent price. Staff are friendly and nice

This is a small shop and also has a cafe inside with indoor and outdoor seating. The cafe offers a great range of options including plenty of vegetarian options. The lady who was working for the cafe was very attentive and got my food ready fresh and fast and wrapped it all for me to take away. I got halloumi gyros and it was 4.99 it was incredible. I got chips, wraps, great tasting halloumi, salad and a range of sauces. Would 100% recommend and will be going back there again. The shop is open the hours shown on here, where as I think the cafe is only open 7am-4pm. They serve breakfast and plenty of main meal options.
Functions as a cornershop/cafe, and while I can’t speak for the cafe portion, the shop aspect is underwhelming. Everything is fairly overpriced and stock limited. Some things aren’t even priced. I recommend visiting the Coop nearby if you need essentials. Can only see this place being useful if you’re quite desperate or can’t be arsed walking 200 more metres to the next shop over.
