Absolutely beautiful. You could be anywhere in the world walking round here with blue skies and lovely beige soft sand. Lots of nature on hand and also a massive history to this rock. If you look closely enough around it you will find the clues and kilns that used to be used to store GUN POWDER, that was produced near by the "rock" itself. Nowadays the entry's have been long filed in, but still evidence is all around if you look. A great place to explore, rest, enjoy the extensive amazing views and walk barefoot along the glorious sands. Just watch where you step. Lions mane jellyfish tend to be stranded here quite regularly.

Beautiful beach, great for a quiet walk. Takes about an hour there and back from the car park. Lovely views over the Furness Fells from the top of the rock.
Great place to get the best views in furness. The 6th hole at dunnerholme golf course.
My perfect place to just be still and in nature
