Would definitely recommend. Field archery is a great way to spend your time, and Forest Spirit Archers is a great club. Friendly and welcoming, with excellent facilities, set in a beautiful woodland. Members can use the facilities 365 days a year (if you are lucky enough to have the time). There are lots of active members, shooting lots of different styles, but even at its busiest the course never feels overcrowded, so it is always somewhere you can relax if you just want some quiet time in the forest. The wider field-archery community is also friendly and welcoming, and there are plenty of opportunities to meet and shoot/compete on different courses if you want to (from local competitions, up to national/international level). Coaches at the club are of a very high standard, and are happy to give help or advice where it is wanted, but don't pressure or interfere if you just want to relax and shoot for the pleasure of it. I took it up a couple of years ago, and my only regret is i didn't do it sooner. Just brilliant!

I have been a member of Forest Spirit Archers for quite a few years now. The club has continuously improved every year I have been here , the facilities and course are always being looked at with a view to enhance the shooting for all members. The club coaches are always available for information and coaching if requested. The membership has risen every year and one now have one of the highest membership of any club in Scotland. If you are interested in archery then this is a good club to be in.
Fabulous club. Joined recently and everyone is really friendly and welcoming of newcomers. Coaches are always happy to help and give advice on how to improve. Very social club with many opportunities to meet up socially, as well as competitively (if someone wants it to be). Price is extremely affordable for what you get and forest area is very relaxing to come along for a shoot with others or on your own.

Biggest and best club in Scotland, I am member for almost 4 years. If you think how start your archery experience or where to continue it is right place. You will find full trained instructors and very helpful and friendly members
