Nice indoor go kart track. A bit dear but worth the price. Available for kids from age 8. Walk in from 12-3 pm and 6:30-9:30pm

Good indoor track and quiet when we got there. Staff were helpful and went over everything at the start. We had a good experience overall despite the price being a bit dear. My brother was happy cause he beat the track record!

Had the time of my life it made me feel so young again for a 62 year old man and couldn't ask for better staff. Nice friendly lads would highly recommend Kartstart Kirkcaldy 5/5

Came here with 2no. 8yo both complying with the height requirements but both were too small for the karts so didn't get out on track. Ended up going over to Scotkart in Glasgow where there were no issues and who have the same age and height requirements. Difference is much better equipped karts and much nicer venue. The Venue in general is very grotty and hasn't been updated since I was here almost 15 years ago! Definitely wont be back until they update the karts and the venue.

I didn't want to leave this review and emailed Kart Start on an address listed on thier site with the hope of a reply so I didn't need to write this but 2 weeks later and nothing back so here it is... Went with my girlfriends lad who is 13. We happily waited an hour to get in a Kart. Racing wise fantastic, the young lad raced well over 2 10 minute sessions. Coming in to the Pitt at the end I drew in behind his Kart and could see a staff member stood over the lad and speaking to him quite aggressively about reading a sign. By the time I got my helmet off the staff member had stood square up to the lad with his finger pointed at the door telling him her was banned and to get out then marching with him toward the front door. I had to quickly get out my kart and pull this staff member by the arm and attempt to find out what actually had happened and that he shouldn't be speaking to the lad like that, if there was an issue I was the adult with him so speak to me about it. His attitude and communication skills were so poor. Another staff member came out and sided with us but the guy in question didn't care one bit and stuff with his attitude. The lad instead of buzzing about a good time he had and some quick laps left angry and upset, and I'm still uncertain what the actual issue was. Very disappointed. Surely this staff member deals with youths alot and has a better understanding of speaking to people.
