An annual visit by a large fun fair that closes the Esplanade in Kirkcaldy. Apparently its the longest street fair in Europe. Many favourite rides like the Waltzers and Dodgems are here along with some more stomach churning experiences. Some more suitable rides for the young are present too. Gone are the days of people just strolling around enjoying themselves. Nowadays security was very obvious with lookout posts every 100m or so. The gangs of boys looking for trouble were more obvious than of old too! A good time could be had here. If you either like vomit inducing rides or the cheesyness of flashing strobes and loud music appeals. These street fairs haven't changed much in the last fifty years. Yes some of the rides are more intense. But the likes of Alton Towers are showing how dated the concept of the street fair is.

A good day out with my son. Spent a fortune but he had a great time. We were there early so got on a lot of the rides during happy hour. There were lots and lots of different stalls, rides and activities. We didn't even manage to get right to the bottom there was that much .

Fantastic day out, all the carnivals from all over arrive here before leaving to go do their own things, scenery along the cost is beautiful if your not interested in the shows, something for everyone at any age
Always a nice day out! It's expensive but it's a once a year treat so it's worth it. The people who run the rides etc are really friendly! My kid loves it.
Had a great afternoon there ..the weather was great..the usual rides for the kids and the big kids..lol. Food a bit pricey but that's nothing new ..the public toilets are a disgrace ..4 ladies toilets only one working...(that's nothing to do with the fair)there are some portaloos as you come into the fairground ..but that's no help if your at the other end and one of the kids or yourself need the toilet ..town council should be making sure everything is in order If they want people to come back..
Brillant we all loved it had hot dogs bought sweets it was a lovely day to walk through it we don't go on anything but was nice seeing everyone having fun at the fair ...
