A wonderful small museum with local history.

Wonderful little gem of a museum.

It is a miniature Pitt Rivers museum in Kircudbright and about as varied, though on a tiny scale in comparison to its Oxford equivalent. An eclectic mix of exhibits on the ground floor and balcony. It takes about 2 hours to see it all properly but you don't have to do it all a once.

Absolutely fantastic. A museum as they used to be. Eclectic selection and not \child\ friendly so therefore not dumbed down and very good for children. Wonderful stuffed fish and a proper Beaker Folk Beaker. What more could you ask for?

B

Bonny

Informative and fun for kids and adults, great day.
